Trump Pastor Predicts Slaughter Of Non-Christians Coming Soon

Robyn Claeys is the EdgeKidz pastor for Riverzedge Church in Sioux City, Iowa while her husband, Bill Claeys, is the lead pastor.

Robyn recently made a social media post in which she claims that Jesus may be about to return to Earth any day now. She wrote:

“The Bible tells us the signs that lead up to and during the ‘Last Days’. There's too many to post here, however I'll share a couple that are taking place RIGHT NOW - SIMUTANEOUSLY.

1) The Pope has invited all the world's religious leaders to Mt. Sinai for the initiation of a new set of "Universal Ten Commandments" for the forming of a New World Religion of...CLIMATE CHANGE. 2) Benjamin Netanyahu (whose name means "God has given), has come back into power by the help of the Religious Sects of Orthodox Judaism that want the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple. 3) 5 Red Heifers have arrived in Israel for the purification of the 3rd Temple. 4) All the items for the service of the Levitical Priests are completed and they're practicing the 3rd Temple procedures. 5) There's a mysterious man, Rav Shlomo Yehudah, called "The Yanuka" who's drawing THOUSANDS of people…

…So, there's a very real possibility that Jesus is returning SOON SOON SOON. Why? Because the book of Revelation says that the 3rd Temple will be defied by the man who we know to be the AntiChrist, which means that the Temple will need to be rebuilt if it's to be desecrated, which means the Red Heifer will be needed to purify the Temple…”

Robyn Claeys’s message goes on and on with arcane bits of magical prophecy, but you get the idea. Robyn Claeys is predicting that Jesus is about to return, and then a whole bunch of radical stuff will happen.

The Riverzedge Church makes it plain that it does not regard such prophecies as metaphors. The church teaches that these things are literally true, saying that: “We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is without error. It is the final authority for faith and life.”

Given that Robyn Claeys believes that the literal words of the Bible’s book of Revelation are literally true and without error, and may be about to happen “soon soon soon”, It’s important for us to look at exactly what the book of Revelation says will happen once the return of Jesus begins.

Verses 10-11 of the book of Revelation, Chapter 14 predict that non-Christians will be tortured by Jesus, saying, “They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb, and the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever.”

The book of Revelation continues with more threats against non-Christians. In verses 18-20 of the same chapter, the Bible says this about what will happen to people under the supervision of Jesus: “Another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.” The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.”

A stadion was an ancient Mediterranean unit of length. It is believed to have been equal to roughly 200 meters. Given that measure, 1,600 stadia would be 32,0000 meters, or 32 kilometers. So, the book of Revelation promises so much blood that the blood will flow at about six feet deep for 32 kilometers in all directions. That’s hundreds of square kilometers of blood coming from that winepress, at six feet deep.

But hold on a minute. Where is that blood coming from? Grapes are filled with juice, not blood.

Here’s the awful part of it: Those grapes are a metaphor for human beings. There’s no reason Jesus would have wrath against grapes, right? This passage of the book of Revelation comes right after another that talks about the terrible punishments that Jesus will inflict upon people who decide not to join his holy war against the Earth.

The book of Revelation chapter 19 makes it clear that the grapes targeted by the wrath of the winepress of Jesus are human beings. Verses 11-16 of this chapter explain the earlier winepress metaphor:

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and lord of lords.”

We all know who the king of king and lord of lords, who the “Word of God” is in Christian scripture. It’s Jesus. According to Robyn Claeys, Jesus is going to engage in massive torture, and she thinks that’s a good thing.

These verses make it quite clear that the return of Jesus will be accompanied by an immense slaughter of people for no other reason than that they refuse to follow Jesus. As Jesus treads the winepress of the book of Revelation, his robe will be stained in blood, not wine. According to the prophecy that Robyn Claeys is so happily anticipating, Jesus will be waging war against non-Christians, and he will rule the entire Earth, including the United States, “with an iron scepter” because the violence of Jesus will “strike down the nations”.

Democracy will be gone, if the Bible prophecy goes according to plan. It will be replaced by an unforgiving Christian theocracy that will kill everyone who refuses to obey the new government.

The blood in the winepress of Jesus will come from the crushed bodies of the hundreds of millions of people that are killed in this religious genocide.

Robin Claeys is far from alone among the members of the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition in her sincere desire for Jesus to come down to Earth and start killing non-Christian Americans.

Consider the violent theology preached by these other members of the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition.

Adam Whitty of the Temple Baptist Church in Charles City, Iowa teaches that non-Christians will be rightfully subjected to “everlasting conscious suffering” after the return of Jesus.

Pastor John Johnson of the Hickory Grove Community Church in Ottumwa, Iowa preaches that, “Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the Devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.”

Joseph Hall is pastor of Crossroads Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where the church teaches, “Unbelievers will be judged,” and that “they will be eternally tormented.”

“The Lake of Fire is literal,” says Roger Adkins, pastor of the Real Life Church in Bettendorf, Iowa.

These are just a few examples of the large numbers of members of Donald Trump’s Iowa Faith Leader Coalition who preach that when Christianity finally gains control, massive violence to kill billions of people will be the inevitable result. They don’t deplore that violence. On the contrary, they look forward to it. They pray for it.

It is no mystery that when Donald Trump declares that he will be inflict “retribution” and massive violence against Americans if he is elected President, members of the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition do not protest against Trump’s violence. Instead, they applaud it. They do so because their radical Christianity preaches that massive violence is a righteous tool of their god. They see Donald Trump as a servant of Jesus because of his cruelty and violence.

The Iowa Faith Leader Coalition is dedicated to the project of replacing American democracy with a Christian dictatorship that uses violence to force people to obey the commands of Christian leaders.

That’s exactly the opposite of what the authors of the Bill of Rights had in mind when they wrote the first amendment to the Constitution, prohibiting the government establishment of religion.

This opposition to the Bill of Rights in favor of a fantasy of massive religious warfare across America is just one of the extremist positions advocated by members of the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition. Tomorrow, I’ll be back with yet more information about what Donald Trump’s Iowa Faith Leader Coalition is really up to.
