John teaches his followers to eagerly anticipate the day when non-Christians will be punished with eternal pain. He explains to them, “Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the Devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.”

Other people who have endorsed Donald Trump in their capacity as pastors at the Hickory Grove Community Church in Ottumwa are Donna Johnson and Jeff Hendred.

It is against the law for them to both refuse to pay taxes while using their church positions to endorse partisan political campaigns, but they are doing it anyway.

Will they receive eternal punishment for this? No. They’re getting away with it, and don’t even seem inclined to apologize for their criminal actions.
