The Trump Pastor Without A Flock

The 2024 Trump campaign lists Kelly Pabst as a pastor in Pocahontas County, but there is no record of anyone named Kelly Pabst working as the leader of any church or other religious leader anywhere in Iowa.

In 2023, Kelly Pabst did run for mayor of the small town of Laurens, Iowa, with a population of just over 1,000 residents. Pabst lost the election, with just 88 votes. That’s only 37 percent of the who showed up to vote.

Kelly Rose Pabst isn’t a pastor. She has no flock. She’s just a person who’s frightened and angry and posting a video on Facebook now and then, with almost nobody watching.
