Stan Herndon certainly is a religious Trump fan. In December 2023, his wife, Heidi Herndon, posted a photograph of herself and Stan with Donald Trump on Facebook. “Jesus is our Savior, and Trump is our President!” she wrote.
Stan is quoted in an article for Reuters written by Nathan Layne and Alexandra Ulmer as declaring of Trump that "We believe that he's annointed by God.” Stan was described by the reporters as wearing a hat that read “Jesus is my savior. Trump is my President.” That hat is visible in the photograph above.
The same article lists 25 year-old Jackson Lane as the Iowa Director of Faith Outreach for the Trump for President campaign.
Does Jackson Lane have information about any work that Stan Herndon actually does as a “pastor” at any church, or even as a “chaplain”? Is Jackson Lane responsible for gathering the many names on the list of Trump’s Iowa Faith Leader Coalition that appear not to be the faith leaders they are claimed to be?
Stanley Herndon’s wife Heidi Herndon is doing far more than just attending a rally and posing for a photograph with Donald Trump. She has proudly announced that she will be a Caucus Captain for Trump on January 15. Will Stan be a Caucus Captain as well?
Stanley Herndon is listed by the Trump for President campaign as a pastor in Webster County, Iowa…
…but Stan Herndon himself doesn’t claim to be a pastor.
Stan claims to be a “chaplain” at Beacon of Hope, a nonprofit that runs a religious school in Kenya… but the Beacon of Hope organization is based in Houston, Texas, not in Iowa, and doesn’t list Stan Herndon among its staff members. The organization doesn’t even list Stan Herndon as among its volunteers.
The Iowa Faith Leader Coalition is a radical political organization that violates the law
Let’s make it our business to become aware of the radical Christian Nationalists who are members of the Coalition.
