There is no information indicating that Juli Kvale has ever been a minister, however.
It is clear that Kvale is very religious. She is a devotee of the New Apostolic Reformation, an extremist Christian movement that seeks to overthrow American democracy and replace it with a totalitarian theocracy that controls Americans’ private lives in minute detail.
Juli Kvale has promoted material from Lance Wallnau, a leader of the New Apostolic Reformation who accuses Democrats of being literal demons, and who says that China is run by Satanists.
Kvale also has expressed public approval of the “Prophecy of the Two Presidents”, a conspiracy theory concocted by the New Apostolic Reformation prophet Kim Clement. The Prophecy of the Two Presidents holds that Donald Trump has been chosen by the Christian god to become President of the United States in order to bring about the end of the world.
Of course, Kim Clement also predicted that Joe Biden would be fall from power in 2022. Two years later, Biden is still President of the United States. It seems that the Prophecy of the Two Presidents was just full of hot air.
Juli Kvale is listed by the 2024 Trump for President campaign as a minister in Worth County, Iowa…
…but there is no record of Juli Kvale leading any church or other religious organization.
Kvale was the owner of the Cutting Edge Hair Salon, but she lists herself as retired.
She has been an active member of the Winnebago County Republican Party, and has made repeated contributions to the Republican National Committee. She describes herself as an “outspoken, loyal Republican.” In fact, in 2016, Juli Kvale was the chair of the Winnebago County Republican Party.
Many people have a difficult time understanding why some Christians are such fervent devotees of Donald Trump. To grasp what motivates Trump Christians, it’s essential to look at what they actually say and do.
In the new book Donald Trump’s Army of God, authors Clifford and Anise Cook provide a case study of Christian Nationalism in the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition.
Instead of speculating, they looked at the evidence available to the public, and found murder, terrorism, a lust for religious war, fraud, corruption, bigotry, demons and Nazi propaganda surfing through the minds of Donald Trump’s Christian supporters in Iowa.
It’s a bizarre realm of faith-based fascism, but we can’t just dismiss it. In 2024, more than ever, we need to take this strange movement seriously.
The Iowa Faith Leader Coalition is a radical political organization that violates American law
