In January of 2024, when Donald Trump was hustling to win the Republican Party Iowa caucuses, his campaign had set the goal of getting an endorsement from at least one Christian leader in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
It just so happens that “Jean Fully” whoever she is or is not, is the only “faith leader” in the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition from Hardin County.
It looks a lot like Donald Trump’s campaign either made up some fake identities to fill in the blanks in its Iowa Faith Leader Coalition, or didn’t bother to check the details when people came forward to present themselves to the campaign as religious leaders.
One way or the other, the Trump campaign either engaged in fraud or negligence.
The other possibility is that Jean Fully is a religious leader who is so obscure that her name doesn’t show up anywhere at all.
Jean Fully, are you out there?
Donald Trump lists Jean Fully as a “ministry leader” in Hardin County, Iowa…
…but there is no evidence of anyone named Jean Fully taking on any leadership position in any church or other religious organization anywhere in Iowa.
In fact, there is no record of anyone named Jean Fully living in Hardin County. There are fewer than 17,000 people living in the county.
There is a Sarah Jean Perry from Hardin County who was charged with 3 counts of sexual exploitation of minors last year. Could “Jean Fully” be a misspelling of Jean Perry?
It’s a mystery at this point.
Who is this Jean Fully person whose endorsement Donald Trump is bragging about? Why, if this Jean Fully is an authentic faith leader, does no one seem to know who she is?

Their research uncovers the religious extremism that helped Trump secure the Republican nomination in the Iowa caucuses and is paving the way for his return to the White House in November 2024.
