Trailer: Donald Trump’s Army Of God
At the beginning of this year, we began an investigation of the identities of 317 Christian Nationalists joined the Trump campaign, as members of the Iowa Faith Leader Coalition, in the weeks before the 2024 Iowa caucuses. The revelations that we’re going to share with you have not yet been reported by any journalistic or political organization.
You’re going to hear them here first.
Here’s a quick sample of what the stories we’ll share on this podcast are like:
One member of Trump’s Coalition members is David Leach, Secretary General of the Army Of God, an anti-abortion organization designated by the Department of Homeland Security as a Perpetrator of Terrorism.
Other members of Trump’s Iowa Faith Leader Coalition include:
· Tom Sooter, a Baptist pastor who kept his adult daughter Jennifer at home with him for years, convinced that she was possessed by demons. When Jennifer Sooter attempted to leave to live on her own at the age of 24, her mother shot her in the head several times and then killed herself.
· Katherine Watsey, a traveling prophet who claims to have discovered a network of altars to the god Baal in secret underground locations across the United States. She and her followers gather to do battle with the demons and sorcerers she claims defend these altars.
· Stacey Besch, a Moms For Liberty activist who recently shared the antisemitic hoax Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion with her followers
· David Green, a faith healer who falsely claimed to have cured a young girl of Down Syndrome
There are 317 stories we have to tell between now and Election Day.
Tune in, and please help spread the word.
